Eurostar doesn't wor

Eurostar doesn't work in the snow or minus degrees. I wonder why they still charge extortionate rates for journeys in these conditions? Before i took train from Brussels to London, i stocked up on water and food, and rightly so, as we broke down twice, as did the train that was supposed to take us to London in first place. The only other country i would think of stocking up on supplies in case of breakdowns, would be India....but their trains are proced accordingly :)
